At&T Software Update. When i go to settings>system>at&t software update, the options to check for updates and continue update are grayed out and do nothing when i tap them. Today, att sent me a software update for the second time this month.

The first time, after several days passed, a google update became available and the assistant was back working. Anyone know what's up with this? On a friends phone, which is the same as mine (alcatel onetouch allura), those options are in black letters and work when tapped.

After this happens about 5 or 6 times, the update will automatically update using your data. At&t customer service and community forums do not have advance knowledge of the update but learn of the software update at the same time it is made available to customers.

The security patch level is dated april 1, 2022. I haven't received a may update. Your device will restart to perform the update.
